I'm sad to see Shoe Porn Week come to an end, but anyone who has been reading this blog long enough knows my love for shoes has no end, so there will be many more shoe posts in the future! I meant to save this post for the very last day of the 'week,' which would be tomorrow, but my weekend is going to be full of Memorial Day get-togethers so I thought I would just do it now.

I was able to snag mine before they went to backorder again. I love how even though the colours on these are really vivid, you can pretty much coordinate them with anything.

This blog's 1st birthday was actually 10 days ago on May 15th, but I thought... Why not celebrate it & Shoe Porn Week at the same time? 

I bought these heels like at the end of February when I was anticipating my spring wardrobe to be full of retro-girlyness, but of course my tastes went in the complete opposite direction haha. I'm glad I can still find a use for them with my current trosseau~ they're really comfy & look super-cute with socks too ♡

& because I can't forget to wish cherri☆pop☆fiction a Happy 1st Birthday...

My Lanas finally came in a few weeks ago & I'm so glad I decided to go with these in this amazing neutral colour. They really are a lot like the Lita boot, but definitely for the more daring shoe whore~ more pronounced platform & of course the fucking sexy curved heel ♥ Though I admit I do need a little practise walking in these（*/∇＼*） ｷｬ

Contemplated these in the Red White Dot print & of course the badical Stars & Stripes, but then I realised I don't own a pair of blue shoes. These will do.

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this shoe.  That structured heel alone has me dying.

Yes, this a men's shoe.  Care factor: 0%.

These heels are so 70's & so incredibly sexy. My former disco queen mum would be proud ♡

 

☆ Riddle Paint in Black Multi

 While these aren't as hot as the Mildred, they're a great fusion of the paint + the Tick wedge. Haute.

Cover Girl Lip Perfection in #405 Fairytale + #305 Hot

It's safe to say I have an unhealthy addiction to lipstick. So after reading Lana of Lana★Isabelle's review of these & seeing as how CVS was conveniently having a buy 1 get 1 50% off of Cover Girl cosmetics this week, I snagged these 2 shades. I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but NYLON magazine featured Hot in the May issue channeling the Viktor & Rolf Spring 2011 runway look & Fairytale just looks like my dream shade of pink ❤

Probably going to grab #330 Divine at some point too since I suddenly want to try purple lips~

Tribal dresses from F21, Missoni Spring 2011 campaign video

If anyone has noticed, tribal/ethnic/native/Morocco/whatever the fuck you wanna call it print has vomited all over Forever 21.  & because I do so love it, I picked up these 2 dresses from the webshop ❤ You can imagine how pleased I was to see how these particular prints echoed Missoni's concepts for this spring too, haha~

Though I am tempted to take the first dress to this custom shop here in town & have the sleeves ripped off (I'm kind of tired of the whole 'structured shoulders' thing) & use the fabric with some beads to refashion it into a doppelganger of this amazing Versace Spring 2011 dress~

Loved this spread in the June issue of SCawaii. 串戸ユリア/Yuria Kushido is one of my most recent style idols so of course I love seeing her featured everywhere lately, but I'm especially loving the obsession redux with L.A. & California style in general  ❤ So many totally accessible & wearable styles on these pages.

Also adoring the inclusion of Jillian Kate (she had another shoot in this issue with some of the SCawa girls too) & the other Raw Girls~ I can tell all of these ladies inspired Yuria's GYDA line completely, haha~

Draw Your Battle Lines

Jeffrey Campbell Foxy in Black Leather, Jessica Simpson Dany in Cracked Pewter, rocking my faux 70's vixen vibe w/MERCURY LUX dress

This is going to come as a shock to a lot of people, I know... 

The Foxy was the first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I bought, & I'm SO happy I did because I adore the brand now but... I actually only bought them because I couldn't get my hands on the Dany ﾌﾟﾌﾟ(￣ｍ￣(￣ｍ￣|壁|￣ｍ￣)￣ｍ￣)ﾌﾟﾌ

The funny part about it is they are essentially the same shoe, which is a knockoff of these Charles Anastase spring 2009 platforms~

 

However, if you look at the original designer shoe & the photos of both the Foxy & the Dany, you'll see that the Dany is actually closer to the real thing. Which is why it wins for me ♡

I love how the Dany has a rounder shape & the heel really elongates the leg~ the Foxy heel is a little chunkier with an overall more squarish construction. I personally think the Foxy is great for more casual looks, while the Dany is pure sex in a T-strap platform heel. Really happy I managed to snag my pair from the after X'mas sale on the Jessica Simpson Collection webshop for only 50$ too~

The Dany can still be found on eBay for insane amounts of money, & of course the Foxy is available in all kinds of cute variations at Solestruck ( ~ё￣) -☆
