Experimenting with citrus colours last weekend

Simple iTouch snaps from last Saturday & Sunday. The recent explosion of Ena Matsumoto on my tumblr & the fact that I'm quite liking EMODA's late spring/early summer offerings much better than the travesty of what they were putting out in early spring inspired me to put these looks together.

That, & I needed an excuse to finally rock out my melon-coloured Dolce Vita wedges, haha ❤

Are these not the most ridiculously fabulous sunnies you have ever seen? I love how they look all huge & glam with the lenses on, but then when you slide them up... instant cute, haha! ♪(ﾟ▽^*)ﾉ⌒☆ 

& no, these are not the real Jeremy Scott for Linda Farrow Mickey shades obviously because I can't afford & srsly wouldn't want if I could to drop 400$+ on generally useless sunnies (￣▼￣)ノ＿彡☆ばんばん！

My hunt for the perfect tiny shift dress couldn't have gotten any more lucky when I happened to snag this exact dress from Rumi's 2010 Mercury Duo A/W campaign. It's actually a piece from the line's more upscale offshoot, Mercury Lux. Their pieces are available on the regular Mercury Duo webshop, but you can check out the ameblog for specific coordinates using Mercury Lux.

I'm currently eyeing this little number from the 2011 S/S line now~

SCawaii x Become a Blogger

So the May issue of SCawaii had this interesting little piece on 'becoming a blogger' & while the blogger phenomenon is not new to J-fashion magazines, I liked this take on it because it features several Japanese bloggers~ 鈴木えみ/Emi Suzuki & Rinka just to name the top ones ♡ It's also the first piece that doesn't just focus on the fashion, but the lifestyle as a whole.

Some things I found amusing though were the tips on how to make your blog like a 'fashion icon's' & the different media & apps you can use (￣▼￣)ノ＿彡☆ばんばん！Looks like blogger mania is here to stay... for a while at least~

Sparkle & Fade

The UNIF Dream Dress @ NASTY GAL, What Goes Around Comes Around Stencil Tee, American Eagle Outfitters shorts, Pink Glitter Lita @ NASTY GAL

 

I was so inspired by NASTY GAL's recent campaign featuring this dress & these shoes, I had to recreate it for myself ❤ New high-waisted shorts, WGACA tee from 2 seasons ago (remember when these were all over the Tokyo Girls Collection A/W Kitson runway?) & my new favourite pair of drag queen lashes to finish it off. 

 

I won't go on & on about how much I ASDFGHJKL@#$%&FUCKINGADORE these pink bubblegum Glitas even though I'm still trying to figure out how to coordinate these for random Wal-Mart runs, haha, but I WILL say that I cannot believe this dress hasn't sold out yet! It really is deserving of the name 'dream dress'  ❤ It's so versatile~ you can wear it as a flowy sheer cardigan, layer it over a slip dress to wear it as a regular dress, or throw it over your bikini as a hot cover-up. It originally sold out in the rainbow watercolour pattern, but this one is so much hotter imho. More 'rocker chick' than 'hippie chick' ♪(ﾟ▽^*)ﾉ⌒☆ Plus, the pattern reminds me of this GYDA blouse that is unfortunately long gone... 

 

The UNIF Dream Dress is still available in all sizes though, so I definitely recommend you pick it up soon!

mukuCHU x GEO SUPER NUDY GREY LENSES

Last week I received my second pair of sponsored lenses from mukuCHU. This time they chose the GEO Super Nudy Series in Grey.

The lenses arrived in perfect condition again, no broken bottles or seals ♡

 Brand: GEO Medical

Diameter: 14.50mm to 15.00mm (these are 14.8mm)

Water Content: 38%

Base Curve: 8.6mm

Life Span: up to 1 year disposal

Being that these are GEO lenses, & I usually find GEO brand to be a little uncomfortable, I have to say that these rank in the more uncomfortable group of their lenses (´Ａ｀。) I was able to wear these for about 5 hours before taking them off, which I suppose is not too bad haha~

The thing that I really liked about these lenses though is the amazing grey colour! It's noticeable both with & without flash, & of course the enlargement on these is VERY noticeable~ I felt very anime-eyed in these (￣▽￣)ノ＿彡☆バンバン！

Overall, I would rate these lenses a 7 out of 10. I actually think they would be perfect for cosplay, since they really give off a super-dramatic effect with the enlargement & striking colour. I might wear these out for a fun night though, haha~
